This About Sums it Up

This post pretty much describes my Sunday every Sunday. But last Sunday was the worst. I had 2 mothers act this exact same way at the exact same time in nursery.

I'm a little behind in discovering this blog, but it's like she's taken all the thoughts and ideas I have brewing in my brain and finds the best way to write them for me.

A Work In Progress

I've caught the craft bug and I went full force with it in hope to finishing some rooms upstairs. Now that I'm in the middle of projects I can feel myself loosing steam. Here's a look of what I've done so far....

Tray/baby's room is going to be a surfer theme. It's no where near finished but I'm hoping I can pull it together before the baby gets here.

I found this idea on a craft blog and decided to try it out. I'm trying to decide if I should put them on a board to hang them up or just hang each one individually. I'm a little intimidated with the hardware store and getting the board to put behind it, but I think it will make the look so much put together.

I love this "Subway Art" project. The green one is the first one I did and I made it by buying alphabet stickers. The blue one I made with a cricut. So much easier!

I plan on trying some more of these for holidays. I think I'll try using something other than a canvas next time. Some of the vinyl had a hard time sticking to it.
I still have to find some big vinyl surf boards to put in the room. I have shelves and souvenirs from Hawaii to put on them. I'm excited for how this room will turn out once I finish everything.
Kinlee's Room-
Kinlee's room has been mostly decorated except for the one wall so I finished it up and hung up the shelves.

This was the wall that has been blank since February.

Travis asked why I hung a loofah on the wall. It's a tissue paper puff. And I bought her dresser at the DI when we moved in and painted it and antiqued it. I love love love how it turned out.

Now I just need to get my crib painted and I'm done crafting for a little bit.

Random Thought

When you're home alone, do you close the door when you use the bathroom?

Out of Pocket

I knew that having a baby would max out our insurance deductible and the kids have needed their tonsils out for a while so this was the year...
