More Tray

Since Tray is pretty much the only thing really going on in our life, here are some recent pictures of him.

This is Tray ready to go to church.
Tray and Trav have been getting ready for the deer hunt. We went for a drive this Sunday to look for some good bucks. Tray found it very fun to hold his own little binoculars and hang out the window spotting things.
This was Tray's new face he showed Trav and me tonight. We had to take turns making the face and wagging our tongue. It was funny and cute.
I have watched my cousin's girls a few times this month. This is Preslie and her and Tray enjoy dancing together. Tray is really cute with her when he tries to get her to stop crying and play with the toys. Good signs of being an awesome big brother.

In other news... only one week until the big ultrasound. I am getting excited to know the outcome of that. I have felt this baby moving a lot this past week and it brings the whole sense of being pregnant to reality.

I'm still working 3 days a week. I am really ready to just be a mommy, but I will take the extra income for as long as I can get it. Hopefully by the end of October I can stay at home all week.

I've been working on some Halloween decorations this week. I finished my witch's broom and my Happy Haunting hat. I thought I did a good job on them. Today Kent's had their pumpkins out. I got really excited and had to refrain from purchasing some. But I'm sure tomorrow I will make a purchase. It's close enough to October that I think I can get away with it.

Well until next post... which I am sure will be Monday night to reveal the big news of my baby!!!! Can't wait!!!!

Loves!

Date Night With My Man

Wednesdays are the night that Travis has Young Men activites so that's Tray & I's date night. This night was especially hectick. It started with giving Tray a bath. I went in the bathroom to start the tub and Tray finds it especially fun to put his hand in the water that is coming out of the faucet. So I went somewhere to get like a diaper or something and I came back in the bathroom to find Tray, fully clothed, standing in the bathtub. He thought it was really fun to pose for the camera too.

So I got him out and got him neked and put him in the tub. Now here comes the bad parent part.... I left to get his towel and came back in and he was making himself a bubblebath by dumping all his soap in the water. It was funny though. Then I heard Tray fart. So I ran over to make sure he didn't doodoo in the water and sure enough under the bubbles there were some floaters. So I got him out and put a diaper on him and shut myself in the bathroom to clean up that mess.

When I was done I opened the door and there lay the diaper with no Tray. He was running up the stairs with a full moon. So I got his diaper back on and put on his jammies and decided to have a photoshoot. Well Tray thinks he is a professional photographer so he took the camera and did his thing. Because of his height he always gets crotch shots of me. But I delete those because they aren't the prettiest thing in the world. In memory of Aunt Kelsey I tried to teach Tray how to take pictures of himself. He didn't like that though as you can see. Our night ended at nine when Tray went to bed and I myself was ready for bed also!!! What a crazy night. But it sure is fun to spend that time with Tray.

Need to Know Basis

October 1st feels so far away!!!! That's the day I hopefully get to find out the gender of my baby. We tried at my last appointment and no luck. My doctor couldn't make out heads or tails as far as privates go!!! And he had me wait 6 weeks until my next appointment. I know rude huh... but it was for my benefit so I didn't have to drive to Ogden so often. But it's really bugging me to know because if it's a girl I have so much I have to get and not so much money to get it with. Right now at this time a boy would be so much easier financially. We've already gotten 2 medical bills and I'm kinda freaking out because I know I'm going to have a Cesarean and it is not a cheap procedure. But back to gender.... We have tried to brainstorm some names... We can't really agree on one specific name. I really like Kinlee for a girl and he likes Karen. But those aren't the top two. We have NO boy names in the works either. Travis really thinks it's a girl. Like there is no doubt in his mind that it's anything but. And then he wants to be done. WHATEVER!!!! There are more babies just waiting to have us as parents because we are so awesome!!!!! But whatever my baby turns out to be I will love it unconditionally!!!! How could you not love something that you created!

The End of a Decade

Well the end of a wonderful decade has come for me. In the next few months I will make the transistion of working full time... to being a Domestic Diva!!!! (Stay at home mommy) I am so excited for this change. It's been something that Travis and I have wanted for a long time. So last night as I was laying in bed I thought it would be funny to list all the places I've work in the past 9 years (yeah I know it's not a full decade but close enough)

1. North Valley Catering - I worked here for 5 years I think. Not great pay- but it was a riot!!!

2. Stylish Designs- I started my Junior year of Highschool and that is where I work today. I did take a leave of absence for like 4 years.

3. Subway - Yes I was a sandwich artist. I only worked there for 6 or 7 months. I was working 4 jobs and this was the one I chose to drop.

4. Standard Examiner - I wrote for the teen section that came out on Mondays

5. K-mart - For the short time I lived in Provo - I spent 2 months of it working at this place. I hated it so bad that I just didn't show up to work one day and that was the end of that.

6. Convergys - For the last half of my Provo experience I sold cell phone to prequalified people. I sucked because they said I was too nice and not aggressive enough. Go figure.

7. Information Alliance - After a little incidenct with another job I was force to work in telemarketing again. This time I called businesses and did surveys. It wasn't that bad except for when you had to do a 45 minute survey with someone. And having Heidi there with me made the job bearable.

8. Envision Mortgage - I didn't do loans or anything like that - I just did the bookkeeping.

9. Munns Manufacturing- I worked here for almost 3 years. At first it was the best job I ever had... then it wasn't so much fun.

10. Feel Good Fashion/Stylish Designs - This is where my journey ends. I will still work a few hours a week - just for my sanity - but other than that, I am retired!!!! This is seriously the best job I ever had. I couldn't have worked for a better boss than I have right now.

I was going to try and find some pictures from some of my places of employment but the only one I think I have beside a tootsie roll smile from Munns... is one with a noodle up my nose at North Valley. If I find it I will post it just for a laugh.

Tray Now and Then

Wow, I guess it's good that I'm pregnant again because you forget how little these things start out. Not that Tray was ever little, but he was about 25 pounds lighter when he came out. It's so fun to see Tray grow. His favorite thing is 'ride' meaning the 4-wheeler. When we go to PaPa's house that's the first thing he does before he even gets in the house. Climb up on the 4-wheeler and waits for someone to take him on a ride. Kabrie had an old mini-wheeler - and at first Tray thought it was cool. But the funny thing is - he won't ride it to save his life. He won't even sit on it. But if you try to ride it - he tries to push you off. Go figure. Maybe next summer he will enjoy his own wheeler. Other things that Tray enjoys is bossing Daisy around. He makes sure that when we go downstairs that she is right behind him, and if she's not he pats his leg and calls for her. He also loves to feed her - mostly play in her bowl. He torments this poor dog until no end too... it's amazing that he hasn't been bit. But I think Daisy just likes the attention. Tray is getting so smart too. We started reading books and he loves to name everything on the page - he's pretty good at getting them right too. He picks out his own drink in the morning and he usually gets the milk out followed by the chocolate syrup. I think he's getting ready to potty train too. Although he usually tells me AFTER he goes - but at least it's a start. He knows what to do with the toilet paper too. That's hilarious. In the mornings he will climb on the closed toilet and sit, then rip some paper and wipe his bum and the climb off and flush the paper. Hilarious!!! Well enough proud parent stories!! Until tomorrow night when I'm extremely bored.

Out of Pocket

I knew that having a baby would max out our insurance deductible and the kids have needed their tonsils out for a while so this was the year...
