Put It All Together and What Do You Get?

I finally finished all my projects for the boys' room. I'm really excited about how it turned out too. I think I'm most proud that I made the majority of things in it. I even went as far as to get all the baby clothes washed and ready even though I still have some time before the little guy gets here.
My friend Mandi made all the vinyl for me. I just love it! It really completed the room.
She even surprised me with this Surf Shop sign.
This is Tray's side of the room. He loves his surfboards! I'm still debating on if I should put another shelf up where his clock is.
Here's the baby's side of the room. I repainted this crib, and in another post I'll share the woes of refinishing furniture with you. I did find a board in the garage to put my canvas pictures on so I didn't have to make a trip to the hardware store.

I also had Mandi make this huge tree to go in my hallway upstairs. I LOVE it! Even though I was a dumb dumb and has issues putting it on, it looks great! You can't really tell from the picture, but it takes up a whole wall it's that big.
I'm glad I got all my projects done before I ran out of steam. I have no desire to decorate again for awhile and I'm ok with that.

Looks great! About 2 years ago I refinished our dining room table and chairs and it was the biggest headache! I did the tabletop wrong and had to completely strip and re-do it. I think it took me 2 weeks to finish, and I was unemployment so basically had all day to work on it.

Awesome job! I always want to refinish furniture, but I'm never patient enough to do it well. I always just want the end result immediately. I'm working on a redesign of our nursery for the new baby, but I've been too lazy to do much yet other than buy things. This baby is taking all of my energy, so I'm impressed that you got all of this done!

Out of Pocket

I knew that having a baby would max out our insurance deductible and the kids have needed their tonsils out for a while so this was the year...
