Merry Christmas!

Christmas is so magical with kids! This was our first year having Santa come to our house. We've always done Santa at my mom's house, so it was so fun to stay up and be Santa's helpers. Although one of Santa's helpers wasn't too thrilled that one of the toys had to be assembled.

My 3 Kiddos

I just love them!!!

I thought I took pictures of all the presents laid out but I guess I didn't.

Santa brought scooters for both kids
And Dylan got a play mat from Santa.
Kinlee loves her helmet and wears it all the time around the house.
Kinlee opening her big present from mom and dad. Princess Barbies.

Tray's big present was a Toy Story race track.

We did presents like we did last year. Each kid gets 1 big thing from Santa and their stocking, then from Mom and Dad they get something educational, one outfit, and one toy. I was worried that my kids would feel like they didn't get a lot but it turned out just perfect! They play with everything they got and can remember everything and loved it all. Plus I don't have 5 million new toys to find a home for.
After presents we got ready and went to brunch at Travis's dad's house. I didn't have my camera with me so sorry no pictures.
That evening we went up to my parent's house for presents and dinner.

Kelsey, Casey, Kylie, and Emily I'm sure waiting for Kabrie to open on of her million presents :)

Kylie and Em

The best part of our Christmas party is the sibling DI gift exchange. This year I had Casey and Travis had Kelton. I got Casey a killer piggy bank!

Kelton was so excited to see what treasure he got.

A punch bowl!!!!!! It actually is my punch bowl but the DI was pretty scarce so Trav just found something in the garage to give.

Yearly jammie picture. This is the only picture I'm allowed to show to the public but just trust that we got lots of cute and funny pictures. It was so nice to have Kelton home again for Christmas.

Of course we ended the night playing games. Always a Bronson tradition.

Playing Mad Gab

My cute Baby D in his Christmas jammies.

This was probably my favorite Christmas so far. Trav and I also exchanged gifts but we couldn't wait for Christmas to come to do it.
Travis replaced my broken laptop as a birthday/Christmas present. Thanks honey!
I got Travis an awesome tool chest that has a stereo built in. He LOVES it and shows off the picture he took of it often. And the best part was that I surprised him with it.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Dylan 8 weeks old.

We have a doctors appointment next week and I can't wait to see how much he weighs. A week or so ago I put him on my mom's scale and he was up to 10+ pounds. I'm sure he's close to 12 now and why wouldn't he be when he eats every 2 hours!!!!

Gingerbread House

This s our first year making a gingerbread house. I think we did pretty good thanks to Travis's awesome piping skills (and OCD perfection).

Dylan just got to hang out on the counter and watch all the craziness.

I didn't do much on the house because I was baking cakes for my brother's homecoming dinner that was the next day.

Travis is so excited for the frosting to dry so he can put candy on.

Fixing the wall that kept falling down.

Yahoo! It's ready for candy!

Kinlee was a great decorator.

Those dang candy balls spilled on my floor twice and I'm still finding them all over.
This will definitely be something we do every year. Tray kept saying how awesome it was and how it was the best idea ever.

Bronson Christmas Party 2010

We played I guess you would call them "secret code" games. The Wards played a new one that you go on a trip through different towns and the person has to guess which city you are going to end up in.
Then the Olsens played snaps.
And for the kids (and Travis) we played Chinese Writing.

We practiced "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" for weeks just for the talent show at the party. so when it was time to perform Tray chickened out but Kinlee came to the rescue and sang the song all by herself!

Preslee and Zellie singing Twinkle Twinkle

Maisy playing the violin. I'm not 100% sure how old she is but I think she is 5.

Cody on the bagpipes.
The Nativity

Dylan made his acting debut as baby Jesus. Don't you love his olden day Converse shoes :)

Tray as a sheep. He argued that his costume was a bunny though.
Side note: Tray loved hanging out with Preslee. That night he kept telling me how beautiful she was and that she was his girlfriend.

Kinlee made a beautiful angel.

The shepherds and sheep visiting the baby Jesus

Ward family singing
This year for our gifts Grandma gave us some "antique" church magazines. But the present that I will cherish most is what she gave to the great-grand kids. She wrote a Christmas book for them that had Christmas stories from when she was a child. It's so neat that my grandma is so good at keeping a personal history of her family. I know that she writes in a journal daily and
she has written many books about our ancestors for us to have. I love reading about my Grandparents when they were young.

Return With Honor

On Tuesday, November 30, Kelton came home from his mission!!!!

It was a very long night because of flight delays so Kelton's plane didn't even land until almost midnight and we didn't get home until 2 am. But the sleep deprivation was totally worth it. We are so proud of Kelton for his decision to serve a mission and he was a wonderful servant of the Lord.

My kids did make it until we got in the car. Kinlee passed out and Tray had a major meltdown that lasted about 20 minutes and then we was out. He even slept in the car until 4 am. But Tray was so excited to see Kelton. Kinlee's reaction was priceless too. She was so shy she didn't even look at him. She kept trying to hide her eyes.
These are pictures from when he left. Look how little my kids were!

Out of Pocket

I knew that having a baby would max out our insurance deductible and the kids have needed their tonsils out for a while so this was the year...
