My Crazies..... New Post

A preview of my new crazy mind post.......

Let's be Honest Here........
I've heard of women getting depressed after blog stalking. I wondered to myself, what are they getting depressed about. Then someone informed me that women get depressed when they read about all the superwomen out there that can accomplish so much in so little time. They make most of us feel like inadequate mothers or wives.
What the crazy people. Let me give you an idea of what one may find on a blog to make them feel like they are a failure.

(These are just made up and although inspired by actual blog entries, they are fictional)

~To let my children all know how much I loved them, I whipped up these personalized story books for each of them. They are the main character in their own book and they go on an adventure that shows how they each use their own special talents to fight the evil villain and save the day. I hope to make a whole series for them as they grow into adulthood. It will help them look back and see all the good choices they have made in their lives.

(My crazy blog is set to private because some people may be offended by my personality. I would hope that if you ask to be invited to view it that you know me well enough to know that I mean no harm by my words and I just want to make people laugh because they are probably thinking the same thing.)

More Family Pictures

Amanda Laing (Look at her website for more pics) took some more pictures of our family. This time is was my whole family. They turned out so cute. Thanks for putting up with my crazy kids again!

I Just Died a Little Inside

I know that most everyone is feeling that financial crunch. I've been using the approach of ignorance when it comes to our finances. Today I actually sat down and wrote out what we need to make each month to pay the bills that we currently have. We were a few dollars short for our monthly expenses so we are working out a budget. Well one thing we decided we could cut back on was our tv package.
I cried as I was clicking on the button to downsize our programing package. Being dead serious I had tears running down my cheeks and I still get a little choked up when I think about it. I am pathetic. I have centered my life around my tv. I have a tv schedule for everyday of the week and I never miss a show. So I'm holding a brief memorial for the shows that have died today.

Goodbye.......
Project Runway
Top Chef
Jon and Kate + 8
Say Yes to the Dress
What Not to Wear
Property Ladder
Moving Up
Mystery Diagnosis
Bridezilla
Secret Lives of Women
Amazing Wedding Cakes
Intervention
I survived
Dirty Jobs
Deadliest Catch
The Soup
True Hollywood Story
MTV in general
VH1 in general
The Biggest Looser on Fine Living (That way I didn't have to miss House to watch it)
TBS - King of Queens, Raymond, Friends
USA - L&O Criminal Intent, Monk, Movie weekends

Who knows, with all this free time I'll have maybe my house will get cleaned, my kids will get some attention, I'll bake more sweets, and maybe I'll even pick up running on the treadmill. But most likely you'll find my glued to the computer screen watching You Tube to catch up on all my favorite shows.

Am I Naive?

I just watched the KSL report on blogging. Is it bad that it didn't scare me enough to go private?
I really don't think that there are that many people that read my blog in the first place. Actually there are only 26 subscribers in google reader for my blog. Sometimes I think I want to just post that I am going to go private just to see who fesses up to reading my blog.
But for now I'm still in the wide open public eye.

Temple Trip

Saturday Kelton took out his endowments at the Logan Temple. What a wonderful night we had. It was such a blessing to be surrounded by family and friends on such a wonderful occasion. I'm also certain that we had some special angels there with us as our family was reunited again in the temple. I just love the sacred feeling I get when I go there with my wonderful husband and the feeling of love I get from the Savior.

I can't believe Kelton will be leaving in 2 weeks. He is going to be an awesome missionary I just know it!

After we did our session we went out to eat at Cafe Sabor. It was Grandma Bronson's birthday too so she got to wear the birthday hat while we sang to her.

I thought we would try carving pumpkins this year. We are definitely amateurs but it was still fun. I was in charge of the gut scraping and fine tuning on the carvings and both kid pumpkins. Travis carved a haunted house and I did the scary kids. And I'm sure you can tell which kid belongs to each pumpkin. Next year I think we'll stick to paint and stickers.

Halloween was awesome this year. For the whole month of October Tray has been wearing this motocross costume thinking that he was Lightning McQueen. Well when it came time for Trunk or Treat he wanted nothing to do with it. So I packed it anyway and when we got to the church he thought it would be ok to wear it. But he had no interest in getting candy. He found Spiderman and was climbing trees with him most of the night.

Kinlee was the cutest monkey! I even put a flower in her "hair" so you could tell she was a girl.

I bought a mullet wig for Travis to wear and Tray wanted to try it on. When he put it on I about peed my pants from the resemblance of Joe Dirt when he was a kid!

My mom and dad came out when we got back from the T-O-T. Tray wanted nothing to do with sitting a getting a picture taken. So my dad held him prisoner.

Out of Pocket

I knew that having a baby would max out our insurance deductible and the kids have needed their tonsils out for a while so this was the year...
