I'm sure millions of blogs are being updated with pictures from the BE County Fair. And why not!?! It's the hippest thing in town! Oh how it's changes since high school. Remember when you'd call your friends and all plan on meeting at the Zipper at a certain time, come all decked out in your new school clothes, and just hang out in a HUGE mosh pit type crowd? Well now I see my friends in line for the train, or the merry-go-round, or other types of kiddie rides. I myself was dressed to the max......clothes covered in baby spew, sweating my butt off, and running after a 2 year old who, even though is on a leash, escaped to ride the trucks again. And is sucks having to buy tickets! Now I understand why we had to roll pennies for our fair money. Boy how times have changed. And I swear that kids from our grade did not dress so WEIRD!!! Since when is it normal to be frightened by someone almost 10 years younger than you? Here are some fabulous pictures of our adventure at the fair.

Surprise Visitor
I had a secret I was keeping from my family for 3 weeks. It was driving me nuts not telling them but I finally got to reveal my surprise on Thursday the 21st. Kylie came home for a quick weekend visit! She has been fighting fires since May and we have missed her so much! It was so great to spend some time with her and to actually see that she is safe. Tray loves Ky Ky and was so excited to have her home. She left on Sunday and will hopefully be back sometime in October.
More adventures from Tray
I have some more funny stories of Tray that weren't so funny at the time but I laugh now because no harm was done.
I had left the kids downstairs while I went upstairs to do something. I got side tracked (surprise) and I came back downstairs to an empty basement.
I called out Tray's name and heard him in the bathroom. I opened the door and saw the garbage can tipped over with garbage strewn across the floor, Tray standing by the toilet with the lid opened and nursing pads in his hands, and Kinlee with a wet head.
Kinlee had followed Tray in the bathroom, knocked the garbage over. Tray saw something fun to play with (nursing pads) and proceeded to put them in the toilet and squeeze the water out of them onto Kinlee's head.
It made me laugh because Kinlee FOLLOWED Tray in there. I hope that's not any indication of what my future holds with my children. One following the other into mischievous plans.

I need help!!!
Recently, I was diagnosed with C. A. A. D. D. - Child Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is how it manifests:
Today, I decided to do the laundry. As I start toward the laundry room, I notice that there are cheerios all over the floor and my car keys are in the cereal bowl. I decide to pick up the cheerios before I do the laundry. I lay my car keys down on the counter, put the cheerios in the trash can under the counter, and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to take out the trash. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash I may as well pay the bills first. I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only one check left, my extra checks are in my desk in the office/playroom, so I go to my desk where I find a sippy cup full of juice.
I'm going to look for my checks, but first I decide I should put sippy cup in the refrigerator to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the sippy cup, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye --they need to be watered. I set the sippy cup on the counter, and I discover baby wipes that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back in the bathroom, but first I'm going to water the flowers.
I set the wipes back down, fill a container with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote, one of the kids left it on the kitchen table. I realize that after school when they go to watch TV, I will be looking for the remote as they fight over who lost it, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.
I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down, get some paper towels and wipe up the spill.
Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day: the laundry isn't washed, the bills aren't paid, there is a warm cup of juice sitting on the counter, the flowers aren't watered, there is still only one check in my checkbook, I can't find the remote, I can't find the wipes, and I don' t remember what I did with the car keys.
Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired.

My friend Becky emailed this to me and I totally related to it!!! I was laughing so hard while I read it! Does anyone else feel this way?
Oh my baby!!!
Kinlee is still growing fast and learning new things every day! She's done a ton in just the short time since my last post about her. She is mobile. And not just the army crawl either. She is all over the place. Her favorite place is in the bathroom pulling the garbage can over. She has two teeth. And she can get into sitting position. Almost every morning she is sitting in her crib waiting for me to come and get her. She went to the dr. the other week and here are her stats.
Weight 17lbs 12 oz - 74%
Height 27 3/4 in - 96%
Head 44cm - 81%
Her other favorite place to crawl is under her crib. Usually I will leave her in her room and come back and she is no where to be seen. Then I hear her playing under her crib. She's so fun!
Where's Ninny (Tray calls her ninny cause he can't or won't say Kinlee)
Peek-a-boo I see you
Yummy licorice
A Family Tradition
If you know the Bronson's you may know that we have a big family reunion every August with my Grandma Edith and her children. The reunion comes complete with a theme, planned activities that relate to the theme, and lots of fun and laughs. We've been having this reunion since I was in the 5th or 6th grade. I think 1994, 15 years of reunions! Wow, to say that out loud it seems like a lot. I remember when we first started I would sit at our window and watch for my cousins to drive by so I could go over and visit with them. We would stay up all night playing night games and sleeping out on the grass with my cousins. It was so much fun.
I'll just mention some of the themes just so you have an idea of how much goes into planning these things. We've had "Boot Camp" "Pioneers" "Olympics" "Knights" "Circus" "Decades" "Mountain Man Rendezvous" "007" "Luau" "Disney Movies"

Obviously there are more themes but I can't think of all of them right now. My grandma saves a piece of memorabilia from each reunion to hang on the walls of the party shed and it's pretty much covered by now.
My crazy aunts Jean, Rita, and Connie (AKA I don't know who they were being)
Welcome Home Kelsey!!!!
Kelsey came home for 3 weeks and it was so nice having her here!!! I hate when she has to leave again because it makes me miss her more each time she goes! She is always so willing to help me out with the kids or just to spend time with me! She is one of my best friends and I miss not seeing her everyday! Tray also loved having her here. Whenever he spots a green car now he tells me that Sessy is here.
Boys and Their Toys
We got this at the end of July but I just haven't posted it yet. Travis told me all the stuff to write about it but since men don't really read this blog and I only know a few women who know their stuff when it comes to things like this I conveniently forgot what he told me. But here is Travis and Tray's favorite new thing.
Tray seriously tries to go on a ride almost EVERYDAY! It's rare when we don't take him for a ride. Even Kinlee enjoys a nice ride around the block once in a while.
Where did August go?!?!?!?!?
I hope I wasn't the only one that felt like the end of summer just crept up on me and now it's gone!!! We had a BUSY August that helped the time go by quick though. Just some highlights to remind me of what to blog about when Kinlee takes her nap....

My Ribbon Bows
I've been making bows for Kinlee since I'm too cheap to buy them. The other day Travis looked at all the bows she had and pointed out that there was no way she could wear all of them. So very true. I decided to try to sell them. So if you are interested let me know. I also have a link to my ad on KSL on the right. They're nothing too fancy but I think they're cute.
